Awesome A+ - lovely camp spot and eco accommodation. The bar is tops, great hosts. The lodge has a lot of history with the old Buffalo abattoir and ranch back in the 60s-80s.

Since high season is over BBQ/sink infrastructure and yard seems to be less maintained.

We found this place by mistake but it was one of the best places to stay during our NT trip. Absolutely peaceful place in the middle of Mary River wetlands. Friendly and helpful staff. Facilities bit "old school" but clean. The menu in bistro is little overpriced. They do wetlands cruises (1,5 hour $55) which was one of the best I have ever done. We have seen 5 crocks, many birds and other animals. The camp is full of kangaroos, which makes this place even more special. Obviously no mobile network available.
